Purlin Roll Forming Machine Operator Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Job Summary ;

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Purlin Roll Forming Machine Operator for our steel fabrication/PEB manufacturing unit.

The candidate should be capable of independently operating and setting a C/Z purlin roll-forming machine and maintaining required production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities - Operate C/Z Purlin Roll Forming Machine safely and efficiently.

- Set the machine as per required purlin size, thickness and length. - Carry out machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor roll forming, punching and cutting operations.
- Check finished purlins for dimensions, hole pitch, length, shape and quality.
- Ensure production is carried out as per drawings and production schedules.
- Identify and rectify defects such as twisting, improper forming, incorrect punching and dimensional variations.
- Maintain proper material identification and finished-product stacking.
- Maintain daily production and machine records. - Follow all safety, PPE, 5S and housekeeping requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.

Requirements - ITI / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.



- 2–5 years of experience operating purlin roll-forming machines.
- Experience in C/Z purlin manufacturing in a PEB or structural steel fabrication unit preferred.
- Ability to understand basic production drawings and dimensions.
- Knowledge of steel thickness, section sizes and basic measuring instruments.
- Ability to independently perform machine setting and operational adjustments.
- Valuable understanding of workplace safety
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts when required.

Preferred Skills - Experience with automatic/semi-automatic purlin roll-forming machines.
- Knowledge of punching and cutting systems. - Basic troubleshooting and machine-setting skills.
- Ability to achieve production targets without compromising quality.

Salary ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month,

depending on experience, machine-setting skills and technical competency.

Overtime / attendance incentives: As per company policy.
