Key Responsibilities

- Procurement Operations: Execute purchase plans for steel coils, sheets, beams, consumables, and spare parts in line with factory requirements.
- Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers; maintain an updated vendor database.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
- Inventory Coordination: Work with stores and production teams to ensure material availability without excess stock.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain purchase records, contracts, and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
- Market Analysis: Track steel market prices, supply trends, and competitor sourcing practices.
- Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier delivery, quality, and responsiveness; initiate corrective actions when needed.
