Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support procurement activities related to Machine, Spares, Consumables, and Engineering Items for our rigid plastic blow moulding manufacturing operations. The candidate should have experience in vendor coordination, purchase order management, inventory monitoring, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

Spares & Consumables Procurement

 Source and procure machine spares, electrical items, pneumatic components,

hydraulic parts, and maintenance consumables.

 Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to understand spare requirements and urgency.

 Develop alternate sources for critical machine spares.

 Maintain records of critical spare inventories and reorder levels.

Vendor Management

 Identify and develop new vendors for raw materials and engineering items.

 Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.

 Evaluate suppliers based on quality, delivery performance, service, and commercial terms.

 Maintain healthy supplier relationships for smooth operations.

Purchase Operations





 Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company procedures.

 Follow up with vendors for order execution and timely deliveries.

 Coordinate with stores, quality, accounts, and logistics teams for smooth material receipt and payment processing.

 Resolve supply-related issues in coordination with suppliers.

Documentation & Reporting

 Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and supplier databases.

 Monitor pending POs and update procurement status regularly.

 Assist in preparing procurement MIS reports and cost-saving initiatives.

 Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance requirements.

Desired Skills

 Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.

 Familiarity with machine spares used in blow moulding operations.

 Good negotiation and communication skills.

 Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.

 Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems .

 Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.

Educational Qualification

 Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering will be an added advantage.
