Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate, empathetic, and responsible Psychological Counsellor to provide counselling and emotional support to students. The counsellor will help students manage personal, emotional, academic, and behavioural concerns and promote their overall psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions for students.
- Provide emotional support and guidance for personal, academic, social, and behavioural concerns.
- Listen actively and create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate records of counselling sessions.
- Identify concerns that may require additional qualified support or referral.
- Conduct workshops and awareness sessions on mental well-being, stress management, communication, self-confidence, relationships, and personal development.
- Support students in developing healthy coping and problem-solving skills.




- Coordinate with faculty and management when necessary while maintaining professional confidentiality.
- Monitor students' progress through follow-up counselling sessions.
- Maintain professional boundaries and follow applicable ethical and institutional guidelines.
- Contribute to creating a positive and supportive campus environment.

Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology or a related field.
- Relevant counselling experience will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent listening and counselling skills.
- Empathetic, patient, approachable, and non-judgmental personality.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with college students or young adults.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
- Ability to conduct student wellness workshops and awareness programmes.
