Job Role:

The Primary Teacher (PRT) – Social Studies will be responsible for teaching age-appropriate concepts related to society, environment, history, geography, and civic values to primary school students. The teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and active learning through engaging and experiential teaching methodologies while supporting the overall academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide remedial support where required.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage activity-based,



experiential, and ICT-enabled learning.
- Organize projects, quizzes, exhibitions, and educational activities.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation.
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, training programmes, and school events.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the school.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject.
- D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification preferred.
