Role & responsibilities

1. Proposal Management & Tendering

- Review and analyze customer RFQs, RFPs, tender specifications, technical schedules, and contractual

documents.
- Understand project scope, customer requirements, compliance obligations, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare complete techno-commercial proposals for global Data Center projects within defined

timelines.
- Develop compliance matrices, technical deviation lists, scope clarification documents, and bid

summaries.
- Ensure all proposal submissions are technically accurate, commercially competitive, and aligned with

customer requirements.
- Support internal bid review meetings and approval processes.

1. Technical Proposal Engineering

- Prepare technical solutions and documentation for:
- Diesel Generator Sets
- Medium Voltage (MV) & Low Voltage (LV) systems
- Generator synchronization and paralleling systems
- Fuel storage and fuel management systems
- Day tanks and bulk fuel systems
- Acoustic enclosures and attenuation solutions
- Exhaust piping and emission control systems
- Containerized and modular power systems
- SCADA/BMS/DCIM integration
- Perform preliminary sizing calculations and technical evaluations based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for:
- Load calculations
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Layout reviews
- Equipment selection
- Redundancy configurations (N+1 / 2N / distributed redundant systems)
- Ensure compliance with:
- Uptime Institute Tier III & Tier IV requirements
- TIA-942
- IEC / ISO / NFPA standards
- Local electrical and environmental regulations
- Emission norms and acoustic requirements

1. Commercial & Costing Activities

- Prepare cost estimates, pricing sheets, and commercial summaries.
- Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and subcontractors for technical and commercial quotations.
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of vendor offers.




- Support pricing strategy development while maintaining profitability and competitiveness.
- Assist in identifying value engineering opportunities and cost optimization solutions.
- Participate in risk assessment and commercial review processes.

1. Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with:
- Sales & Business Development teams
- Engineering & Design departments
- Procurement & Supply Chain
- Manufacturing teams
- Project Management & Execution teams
- Regional offices and global stakeholders
- Maintain proposal documentation, bid trackers, lessons learned databases, and standard templates.
- Ensure proper version control and documentation management during bid stages.

1. Customer & Vendor Interaction

- Support technical discussions with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and Data Center operators.
- Participate in bid clarification meetings, technical workshops, and customer presentations.
- Coordinate with global OEMs and technology partners for optimized technical solutions.
- Support post-bid clarification activities and contract handover to execution teams.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Power Engineering
- or related discipline
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in:
- Proposal Engineering
- Bid Management
- Diesel Generator systems
- Critical power infrastructure
- Data Center projects
- EPC or industrial power projects
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for large infrastructure or mission-critical

projects.

Preferred Experience





Candidates with the following experience will be highly preferred:
- Experience with Data Center backup power systems
- Exposure to hyperscale or colocation Data Center projects
- Experience working with DG OEMs or EPC contractors
- Knowledge of generator synchronization systems and power management controls
- Familiarity with global tendering practices and international project execution
- Exposure to projects in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, or APAC regions

- DG sizing and load analysis
- Generator paralleling and synchronization
- Critical power systems
- UPS integration concepts
- MV/LV switchgear systems
- Fuel systems and fuel autonomy calculations
- Acoustic and emission compliance
- Redundancy and reliability concepts for Data Centers
- Mission-critical infrastructure standards

Software & Tools Knowledge

Preferred exposure to

- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office Suite
