Key Responsibilities – PPC

- Prepare and execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Plan production capacity, manpower, machinery and resources to achieve on-time delivery.
- Prepare and monitor Production Orders and ensure smooth execution on the shop floor.
- Carry out Material Requirement Planning (MRP) based on production requirements and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Accounts and Dispatchdepartments.
- Raise and monitor Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and coordinate for timely availability of raw materials.
- Monitor RM inventory, WIP and finished goods to maintain optimum stock levels and avoid production interruptions.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing and Work Centre master data in SAP.




- Monitor shop-floor production progress against planned quantities and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Ensure proper RM-to-production-to-dispatch coordination as per project and customer delivery requirements.
- Track production efficiency, machine capacity and utilization and take corrective actions where required.
- Analyze production data and prepare MIS reports, planning reports and daily production reports.
- Coordinate Sales Order processing and project execution from order receipt through production and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of SAP master data and production transactions.
- Work closely with Engineering for drawing, BOM and manufacturing-process requirements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and support process improvement and productivity enhancement.
- Ensure proper coordination of quality inspections, rework and material availability to maintain production flow.
- Monitor production vs. dispatch commitments and highlight potential delivery risks to management.
- Maintain proper PPC documentation, records and planning schedules.
- Support management in capacity planning, production forecasting and resource optimization.
