nPosition Summary

nThe Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of solar projects executed in the United States while coordinating remotely from India. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining seamless communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning and control within the solar industry and possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

nCore Responsibilities

nProject Planning and Execution

nDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables based on contractual agreements.

nDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using tools like MS Projects, Primavera, and Procore, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

nConduct critical path analysis and adjust project schedules using project management software to meet deadlines and milestones.

nCoordinate procurement of materials and equipment with supply chain teams, ensuring timely delivery.

nStakeholder Coordination and Communication

nAct as the primary point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients in the USA.

nFacilitate effective communication and alignment across time zones, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.





nUse CRM tools to maintain comprehensive records of stakeholder communications and project updates.

nProvide regular project updates and status reports through Procore or similar platforms to internal and external stakeholders.

nTeam Leadership and Coordination

nCollaborate with engineering, development, SCM, and business development teams to ensure smooth project execution.

nAssign tasks and responsibilities to team members while tracking progress using MS Projects and Procore.

nUtilize internal CRM tools for task management, tracking deliverables, and facilitating team collaboration.

nFoster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and efficiency.

nRisk Management and Compliance

nIdentify project risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies, documenting them within Procore or Primavera.

nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during project execution.

nMonitor regulatory requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to secure necessary permits.

nBudget and Financial Management

nDevelop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control using CRM and financial tools.

nMonitor project financials, including invoicing, revenue tracking, and overhead management.

nIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements, leveraging insights from Procore and CRM analytics.

nDocumentation and Reporting

nMaintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports, using MS Projects, Procore, and CRM systems.

nPrepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

nArchive project records within Procore or CRM platforms for compliance and future reference.

nCommissioning and Post-Project Evaluation

nOversee the commissioning process, ensuring solar projects are fully operational and documented within project management tools.

nCoordinate the handover of completed projects to clients or operations teams using Procore for streamlined documentation.

nConduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects, leveraging reports from CRM and Procore.

nEducation Requirements

nBachelors/master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.

n

nTechnical Skills and Experience

nExperience

n8+ years of experience in project management within the solar or renewable energy sector.

nProven experience in managing large-scale solar projects (100MW+ preferred).

nFamiliarity with US-based regulatory and compliance standards for renewable energy projects is an advantage.





nTechnical Skills

nProficiency in project management tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, and AutoCAD.

nAdvanced skills in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for reporting.

nBasic knowledge of PVsyst and other solar-specific design software is a plus.

nSoft Skills

nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.

nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to manage cross-cultural teams.

nRobust multitasking and time management skills to coordinate across time zones effectively.

- Project Management experience a plus.
