Job Purpose To lead and manage the end-to-end execution of heavy industrial projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, budgetary targets, and statutory compliance. The role is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Manage the complete project lifecycle from mobilization to commissioning and handover.
- Prepare and monitor detailed project execution plans, construction schedules, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities within approved budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and contractor activities.
- Monitor site productivity and take corrective actions to mitigate delays.

Construction Management

- Lead execution of civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and approve construction methodologies and work plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.

Contract & Vendor Management

- Interface with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations.
- Evaluate and certify work progress, bills, and claims.
- Resolve contractual and execution-related issues to minimize project risks.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with project quality plans, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor implementation of QA/QC procedures across all disciplines.
- Ensure statutory approvals and adherence to applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations.

Safety Management

- Promote a robust safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
- Conduct site safety reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Drive implementation of safety initiatives and incident prevention programs.
- Ensure zero tolerance towards unsafe practices.





Cost & Budget Control

- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance resource utilization.
- Review project cost reports and recommend corrective measures.
- Manage variation orders, change management, and project claims.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, government authorities, and internal departments.
- Present project status updates to senior management.
- Resolve technical and commercial issues impacting project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Team Leadership

- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and site personnel.
- Mentor engineers and supervisors for capability development.
- Drive accountability, performance, and collaboration across project teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Project completion within budget and schedule.
- Achievement of project milestones.
- Safety performance (LTIFR, TRIR, Zero Fatality).
- Quality compliance and reduction in rework.
- Contractor and vendor performance management.
- Resource productivity and cost optimization.
- Client satisfaction and successful project handover.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

- 18 years of experience in execution of large-scale heavy industrial projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a Project Management role.
