Mermier Educational Society, Guwahati – Narengi invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for writing project proposals, coordinating with external agencies, Governmental and non-governmental agencies, facilitating project implementation, monitoring progress, and maintaining project documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and write project proposals, concept notes and related documents.
- Coordinate with government departments, agencies, NGOs, CSR organisations and other external partners.
- Coordinate the effective implementation and execution of approved projects.
- Monitor project activities, timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare progress reports, completion reports and project documentation.
- Maintain systematic records of project-related correspondence, activities and outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
- Undertake other project-related responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Candidate Profile





- ⁠Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in project development, project coordination, proposal writing, NGO/development-sector work or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proposal and report-writing ability.
- ⁠Solid coordination, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online/digital platforms.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with external agencies and manage multiple assignments and timelines.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail and commitment to timely completion of assignments.

Place of Work: Mermier Educational Society, Narengi, Guwahati, Assam Remuneration: ₹30,000 per month
