We are looking for a hands-on, organized Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations across an 8-hour daily shift. In this role, you will be directly responsible for meeting daily production targets, optimizing machine output, managing shop-floor workforce, ensuring component quality, and maintaining plant safety.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Production & Shop-Floor Operations

- Plan, execute, and monitor the daily production schedule to achieve shift output targets on time.
- Allocate workforce, tools, and materials across workstations and machinery at the start of each 8-hour shift.
- Track hourly production output and quickly resolve machine bottlenecks, material shortages, or assembly delays.
- Maintain daily production logs, machine downtime reports, and shift handovers.

1. Machine Uptime & Maintenance

- Coordinate with maintenance staff for regular preventive maintenance, tool changeovers, and rapid breakdown response.
- Ensure optimal machine utilization, reduce cycle times, and minimize equipment idle time.
- Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols are strictly followed at all machines.

1. Quality & Scrap Control





- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to ensure all finished components meet dimensional tolerances and visual standards.
- Conduct regular in-process inspections to detect defects early and prevent batch rejections.
- Identify root causes of scrap or rework and implement corrective actions to minimize material wastage.

1. Workforce & Labour Management

- Supervise, train, and motivate shop-floor operators, machinists, and contract labour.
- Track daily attendance, shift discipline, punctuality, and productivity standards.
- Enforce factory safety rules, proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, and 5S workplace cleanliness.

1. Inventory & Dispatch Coordination

- Coordinate with stores/warehouse to ensure adequate raw material and consumables availability before shift starts.
- Ensure completed production batches are staged, packed, and handed over to dispatch on schedule.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
