St. Mother Teresa Law College is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead the institution with academic excellence and administrative expertise. The selected candidate will be responsible for faculty management, curriculum development, research promotion, and ensuring compliance with Lucknow University, and BCI regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic academic leadership and institutional development.
- Ensure compliance with Lucknow University, and Bar Council of India (BCI) norms.
- Supervise faculty recruitment, teaching methodologies, and research initiatives.
- Oversee accreditation processes, including NAAC and UGC regulations.
- Develop and implement policies for legal education, research, and student development.
- Foster collaborations with legal professionals, law firms, and academic organizations.
- Manage admissions, examinations, and quality assurance mechanisms.
- Oversee budgetary and administrative operations of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria (as per BCI/UGC Norms — verify against current regulations)

Educational Qualifications





- Master's Degree in Law (LL.M.) with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university
- Ph.D. in Law preferred/mandatory (as per applicable UGC/BCI regulations)

Experience

- Minimum 15 years of teaching experience in a Law College/University, OR
- Minimum 15 years of combined experience in teaching/research and administration in higher education
- Prior experience as Principal, Vice-Principal, Dean, or Head of Department preferred
- Proven record of academic publications, research guidance, and institutional leadership

Other Requirements

- Must satisfy eligibility conditions prescribed by UGC, BCI, and the affiliating University for appointment as Principal
- NET/SET/Ph.D. exemption criteria as applicable
- Strong understanding of legal education regulatory framework

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
