MailerMen is hiring a Principal Architect - Integration to own the enterprise data and integration architecture across a mixed estate of applications, databases and cloud platforms. Integration architecture is the design work that decides how separate systems exchange data with one another, whether through APIs, messaging or scheduled data movement, and which contracts, standards and controls govern those exchanges. You will hold that design authority at principal level, working across engineering teams and business stakeholders rather than inside a single application.

A large part of the role is enterprise data architecture. You will produce conceptual, logical and physical data models, which describe data first in business terms, then as structure, then as it is actually implemented in a given database. You will shape data warehouse, data lake and lakehouse designs, a lakehouse being an architecture that combines the low-cost raw storage of a data lake with the structure and query performance of a warehouse.

You will also define master data management (MDM), the practice of agreeing one trusted version of core entities such as customer, product or vendor, together with metadata management, data governance, data quality management and the ETL/ELT frameworks that move and reshape data between systems.

On the integration side you will design solutions on platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, Apache Kafka and IBM Integration Bus, covering REST APIs, SOAP web services, API gateway platforms and event-driven architecture, in which systems react to published events instead of calling each other directly. The work spans AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB and Cassandra. You will set delivery and automation standards using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines,



and carry the architecture through stakeholder discussions so that the decisions behind it are understood and agreed.

This is a contract role for 6 months, worked remotely from anywhere in India. Compensation is ₹1,90,000 per month plus GST. Work follows a general shift. The role calls for 15+ years of experience. Apply through MailerMen with your updated resume and a summary of your relevant experience.

- Define REST API, SOAP web service, API gateway and event-driven integration patterns across the estate.
- Guide cloud architecture decisions across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Set database architecture direction across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB and Cassandra.
- Define DevOps and automation practice using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.




- Work with business and technical stakeholders to agree architecture decisions and explain the trade-offs behind them.

Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and integration architecture.
- Proven experience producing conceptual, logical and physical data models.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes and lakehouse architectures.
- Working knowledge of master data management (MDM) and metadata management.
- Experience defining data governance, data security and data quality management practices.
- Experience designing ETL/ELT frameworks for enterprise data movement.
- Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, Apache Kafka or IBM Integration Bus.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, API gateway platforms and event-driven architecture.
- Architecture experience on AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Working knowledge of DevOps and automation tooling, including Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain architectural trade-offs to technical and business audiences.
