Role & responsibilities

We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher who loves working with young children and wants to make every day in the classroom joyful, nurturing, and full of discovery.

The role would be responsible to:

- Provide high-quality, child-centred early childhood education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
- Lead and support teachers in the effective implementation of the curriculum and classroom practices.
- Observe, monitor, assess, and accurately document each childs learning and developmental progress.
- Support the effective planning and management of the academic calendar, daily routines, activities, and school events.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of every child.
- Build strong,



positive relationships with parents and maintain clear and respectful communication regarding children's progress and school activities.
- Professionally handle admission enquiries, parent counselling, school visits, follow-ups, and admission conversions.
- Actively contribute to developing the preschools systems, culture, practices, and quality standards, particularly during the start-up phase.
- Uphold the preschools values, professional ethics, confidentiality, child-safety standards, and teaching philosophy.

Towards Students

- Regularly observe, monitor, and document children's learning and developmental progress.
- Ensure the safety, security, and overall well-being of every child at all times.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support and intervention.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom workplace.
- Maintain effective classroom management through positive and respectful discipline.

Towards Parents
- Develop warm, positive, and professional relationships with parents.
- Maintain updated records of parent feedback and communication.
- Respond to parents questions and concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Keep parents informed about school activities, events, meetings, trips, and important announcements.
- Encourage meaningful parent participation in Parent-Teacher Meetings and school activities.

Towards Management
- Take an active role in the overall academic and day-to-day functioning of the preschool.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding student progress, academics, admissions, parent feedback, and operational matters.
- Coordinate closely with management to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the preschool.
- Maintain accurate and timely student, staff, academic, admission, attendance, and administrative records.
- Support management in achieving admission, enrolment, and student-retention objectives.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, reviews,



and professional development programmes.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, discipline, and ethical standards at all times.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, flexibility, and initiative, particularly during the start-up phase.
- Work closely with management to establish and continuously improve the preschools systems, processes, culture, and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline. A Diploma/Degree/Certificate in ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education), Montessori, NTT, EYFS, or a related field will be preferred.
- Freshers with a genuine passion for teaching and working with young children are welcome to apply.
- Previous preschool teaching experience will be an added advantage.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle admission enquiries and follow up professionally.
- Ability to drive and undertake local travel when required.
- A genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with children, along with a warm, patient, approachable, energetic, and cheerful personality.
- Ability to multitask and manage diverse responsibilities in a growing preschool environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Creative, adaptable, and open to exploring new approaches to early childhood learning.
- Comfortable sitting on the floor and actively participating in childrens activities.
