Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Power BI Service, including workspaces, capacities, gateways, and tenant-level settings.
- Manage user access, security groups, and role-based access control (RBAC) aligned with governance standards.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot On-premises Data Gateway connectivity, refresh schedules, and failures.
- Monitor platform health, usage metrics, and performance; recommend and implement optimizations for reliability and scalability.
- Enforce best practices for workspace structure, dataset ownership, naming conventions, and lifecycle management.
- Support deployment processes across environments (Dev/Test/Prod) and coordinate releases with report developers.
- Handle incidents and service requests, perform root-cause analysis, and document resolutions and runbooks.
- Maintain audit readiness through activity logs, access reviews, and compliance-aligned configurations.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve adoption through guidance, enablement, and platform usage recommendations.

Minimum

Qualifications:





- 3–5 years of experience in administering or supporting Power BI in an enterprise setting.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, workspace management, and tenant settings.
- Strong understanding of Power BI security concepts (RLS, workspace roles, sharing, and access controls).
- Experience managing gateways, dataset refresh schedules, and troubleshooting refresh/connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with Power Platform fundamentals and how Power BI integrates within the platform ecosystem.
- Education: BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC.

Preferred

Qualifications:

- Experience with Power Platform administration concepts, including governance and environment strategy.
- Exposure to capacity planning and performance tuning for Power BI (including Premium/Capacity metrics and optimization approaches).
- Working knowledge of deployment best practices, versioning, and release coordination for BI assets.
- Ability to define and implement governance standards for self-service analytics at scale.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of improving platform stability and user experience.
