Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Specialist with 812 years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, data warehousing, and data modeling. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate, along with strong SQL skills..

Technical Skills

Power BI

- Understand business requirements in Data Analytics, design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Work experience in Power BI service, creation of dashboards & visual interactive reports using Power BI
- Proficient in writing and optimizing DAX queries
- Create relationships between data sources and develop data models accordingly
- Experience working with third party custom visuals
- Experience in implementing row level data security.
- Performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports
- Experience in Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Integrated Power Apps with Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Power Automate
- Familiar with Power Automate for triggering automated workflows from Power Apps and external systems

SQL

- Experience in writing complex SQL queries, Robust SQL Programming skills and SQL Performance tuning
- Awareness of star and snowflake schemas in DWH and DWH concepts

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Develop complex Power BI data models using appropriate relationships, dimensions, measures, and calculated columns.
- Write optimized DAX queries and measures for business reporting and analytics.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using Power Query and other ETL technologies.
- Work with SQL databases to develop complex queries, stored procedures, views, and data extraction logic.
- Design and maintain data warehouse solutions to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Create automated business workflows using Power Automate.
- Integrate Power BI with Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL databases, and other enterprise data sources.
- Implement data security, including Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI.
- Monitor and optimize Power BI reports, datasets, refresh schedules, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot data, reporting, connectivity, and refresh-related issues.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, application teams, and other technical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.

- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Knowledge of Power BI Service, workspaces, deployment pipelines, and gateways.
- Experience with CI/CD and Power BI deployment processes.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance and data-quality practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
