: Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) ExecutiveJob Title: PPIC Executive / Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an analytical and highly organized PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) professional for our nutraceutical manufacturing facility. You will serve as the central hub connecting sales, procurement, and manufacturing operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless production schedules, optimize machine utilization (for powder blending, tablet compression, etc.), and maintain ideal inventory levels of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) without facing stockouts or overstocking.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Scheduling

- Develop, monitor, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, e-commerce demand, and plant capacity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure maximum line efficiency, optimal batch sizing, and minimum machine downtime.
- Issue Batch Manufacturing plans and coordinate closely with the shop floor team for smooth, on-time execution.

2. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) & Inventory Control

- Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to calculate exact RM (active ingredients, excipients, flavors) and PM (bottles, labels, shippers) requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels continuously, strictly implementing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols to manage the shelf-life of sensitive nutraceutical ingredients.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits,



reconcile variances, and minimize material wastage.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Liaise closely with the Procurement Team to expedite urgent material requirements and align incoming deliveries with the production plan.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) to ensure timely sampling, testing, and clearance of materials for production.
- Provide clear updates on production status, lead times, and dispatch schedules to the Sales, E-commerce, and Brand Management teams.

4. Data Management & Reporting

- Maintain real-time, accurate production and inventory data across internal ERP systems (e.g., Bitrix24, SAP, Tally).
- Prepare and present MIS reports on production yield, inventory turnover ratios, material consumption variances, and capacity utilization.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Engineering, Supply Chain Management, B.Sc., or Business Administration. (An MBA in Operations is a solid advantage).
- Experience Required: 3 to 6 years of dedicated PPIC experience, strictly within the Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of nutraceutical manufacturing workflows (powders, direct compression, encapsulation)



and GMP/FSSAI regulatory constraints regarding material handling.

Required Skills
- Analytical & Mathematical Aptitude: Strong numerical skills with the ability to forecast accurately and calculate complex material requirements based on formulation ratios.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP/Inventory management software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, logical formulas).
- Problem Solving: Ability to adapt quickly to supply chain bottlenecks, delayed RM/PM deliveries, and urgent priority orders.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and time-management capabilities.

Working Hours & Benefits
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday (8 working hours per day).
