Role Description

As a Consulting Engineer on the growing Partner Team, you will work directly with our customers, guiding them through the technical aspects of implementing and deploying Kong API Management products. You'll work as a technical advisor, helping customers to build practices on our technology and ensuring their long-term success through strategic enablement. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams and external partners, from developers to executives.

You will also have an prospect to learn AI Gateway, implement for the clients and play with innovative AI based solutions. We will train you in Kong and help you get certified. The role will be a remote role with occasional client site travel.

Skills & Experience :





● 8+ years of relevant Professional Services experience.

● Hands-on implementation experience with API Gateways and/or API integrations in customer environments.

● Practical working knowledge of APIs and microservices architectures.

● Pro fi cient in Linux environments, including Cloud and Development tooling.

● Kubernetes pro fi ciency / experience.

● Experience with major cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.

● Experience with application development (preferred).

● Prior experience working in the Open Source space and/or API Management / Middleware / SaaS software companies.

● Passion and determination for technology.

● Team-oriented nature with an enjoyment for collaboration.

● Self-awareness and strong communication skills are a must.

● Exceptional organizational and change management skills with the ability to manage competing client demands.

● Proven team player and team builder who thrives in a fast-growing, energetic environment and can keep pace with constant change.

● Ability to travel to customer and Kong locations as needed.
