We are looking for a hands-on Senior Platform Engineer to help evolve and operate the shared technology foundation that supports Data, AI and technology initiatives across the firm. This role sits at the intersection of cloud architecture, DevOps, site reliability, security, and emerging AI technologies. You will help engineers move solutions from development to production securely and reliably while providing governed access to cloud services, LLMs, APIs, and AI agent tools.

You will influence architectural standards, extend reusable services across the firm, and take ownership of shared platform capabilities while partnering with Data, AI, and application teams that retain ownership of their individual workloads.

What you will do

1. Architecture and technical leadership

- Bring a clear platform perspective to architecture reviews and translate architectural principles into reusable platform capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers while remaining actively involved in design and implementation.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in Hyderabad and the US.
- Help lead the best developer practices across the firm.

2. Cloud platform and developer experience

- Evolve, extend, and operate secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platform capabilities, with Microsoft Azure as the primary environment.
- Improve and extend CI/CD and GitOps workflows that support automated testing, controlled releases, rollback, and traceable change management.




- Support cloud-native applications across containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and managed Azure services.
- Strengthen platform reliability through observability, incident management, capacity planning, and operational automation.
- Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, application templates, and standardized deployment patterns.

3. AI and agent platform capabilities

- Enable secure and governed access to approved LLMs, AI services, model endpoints, APIs, and agent tools.
- Building or improving agent harnesses for coding agents or other agentic software development workflows.
- MCP servers and gateways, agent runtimes, LLMOps, agent observability, evaluation, and AI guardrails.

Qualification

- 10+ years of relevant experience across Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering, including at least four years of hands-on production cloud-platform experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong production experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, and managed platform services.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Git-based development, CI/CD, deployment automation, and release management practices.
- Experience designing or integrating production APIs, gateways, or shared platform services, including authentication, routing,



telemetry, and operational controls.
- Experience operating production services with strong observability, incident management, capacity planning, and reliability practices.
- Ability to balance governance, security, reliability, and delivery speed with sound engineering judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, disciplines, and locations.

Preferred qualifications Experience with some of the following would be valuable but is not required:

- 15 or more years of relevant experience, with a track record of combining architectural leadership with hands-on delivery.
- Deep expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- MCP servers and gateways, agent runtimes, LLMOps, agent observability, evaluation, and AI guardrails.
- Internal developer platforms, service catalogs, reusable engineering templates, or developer portals.
- Cloud financial management, tagging standards, budgeting, chargeback, or FinOps practices.
- Financial-services or investment-management technology environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or comparable technologies.
