nJob Responsibilities:

n1. Leadership & Management

n

n
- Lead overall plant technical operations and manage HODs (Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality, etc.)
n
- Drive cross-functional coordination and ensure smooth plant operations
n
- Ensure strong team development and performance tracking of the technical staff
n

n2. Injection Molding Operations

n

n
- Manage end-to-end injection molding operations (Windsor and Milacron machines: 100T to 650T)
n
- Oversee machine setup, process optimization, parameter setting, and troubleshooting
n
- Ensure consistent production yield, quality output, and minimal downtime
n

n3. Tool Room & Mould Management

n

n
- In-depth understanding of mould design, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
n
- Guide the tool room team to resolve mould-related issues and optimize tooling performance
n

n4. Quality & Compliance

n

n
- Implement and maintain QMS as per automotive industry standards (ISO/TS, IATF)
n
- Conduct quality audits, manage customer complaints, and ensure CAPA implementation
n
- Use of 7 QC tools, FMEA, and other quality assurance methodologies
n
- Ensure full compliance with customer audits and certifications
n

n5. Maintenance & Utilities

n

n
- Plan and implement AM, PM schedules; monitor performance via SAP PM module
n
- Drive CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) and MP (Maintenance Prevention) initiatives
n




- Analyze downtime and lead CAPA implementation to improve equipment reliability
n

n6. Production Planning & Cost Optimization

n

n
- Ensure timely dispatch with full compliance with OTDIF (On-Time Delivery In-Full)
n
- Lead cost reduction through process innovation, automation, and material substitution
n
- Control engineering consumption (power, labour, raw materials) within budget
n

n7. Process Improvement & Automation

n

n
- Lead automation projects to enhance efficiency, reduce manpower cost, and eliminate NVA (Non-Value-Added activities)
n
- Conduct ROI analysis and obtain approvals for process improvement projects.
n

nEducation & Experience:

n

n
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Plastics Engineering or equivalent
n
- Minimum 15+ years in Injection Molding operations (automotive preferred), with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
n
- Machines: Hands-on experience with Windsor & Milacron (100T–650T)
n
- Technical Expertise: Injection Moulding, Mould Design & Maintenance, Machine Settings, SAP PM Module
n
- Quality Systems: ISO/IATF, 7 QC Tools, FMEA, CAPA, Customer Handling
n
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead automation, cost control, and efficiency improvement projects.
n
