Role &

responsibilities

- Responsible for smooth operation & maintenance of assigned 15 TPD Paddy Straw based BioCNG plant - commissioned by the EPC Team, and ensure stated operational & performance KPIs, within the given O&M; budget while maintaining overall compliances as required.

- Provide regular reports to the HO on the plant performance by exercising control on various Teams at the plant.

- Provide mid-level leadership & direction to the plants day to day operations & maintenance activities.

- Ensuring all Statutory approvals are in place and ensure its renewal as and when required.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring best practices, procedures, and policies that will help achieve plant performance &
- KPIs. Work closely with GM, Commercials, helping the company to determine the most efficient procedures and implement the best strategies to improve plant performance as well.

- Spend considerable time in directing O&M; team members on operations, maintenance, performance evaluation, monitoring KPIs, bio-process laboratory operations and other aspects of O&M; management. Furthermore, assist the GM (Commercials) in critical business decisions as well as attend meetings with key stakeholders of the company.

- Formulate, review & audit OPEX budgets, expenditure, cashflows, work schedules, HSE performance metrics. Ensure plant O&M; is executed within the given OPEX budget, highlight deviations & suggest & implement measures to optimise the OPEX expenditure.

- Ensure Plant Statutory Compliance Management: Factory &

- Labour Laws, Environmental Compliance,



Health &
- Safety Compliance, Local Authority Liaison and Other Licenses &
- Registrations.

- Ensure Quality Control Management: Incoming Material Quality, In-Process Quality Control, Final Product Quality, Documentation &

- Systems, Continuous Improvement ( Root cause analysis (RCA), Kaizen / Lean practices ,Internal audits and quality reviews)

- To ensure maximum equipment availability at the plant by effective preventive & corrective maintenance schedules. Ensure breakdowns are attended expeditiously.

- Ensure effective spares planning for planned and breakdown maintenance, coordinate for timely purchases, productive store inventory management.

- maintain healthy relations with the HO team and attend regular meetings with them on plant performance, inventory/ spare management etc.

- Participate in various studies such as HAZOP, design review, model review for the current plant as well as for future expansion projects.

- Prepare and review plant documentation such as SOPs, Log books, stock register etc.

Modify Operating

Manual if required based on site developments.

- Able to get IT software developed and implemented related to KPI Dashboard, Shift Reports, Lab Reports,



Inventory Management of Spares, Asset Management,

- To conduct inspections at site & act on Process Improvement, OPEX optimisation, Capacity building enablers, ideas & innovations to further optimise plant performance.

- Responsible for regular training for all plant personnel, including but not limited to deputy manager, store in charge, engineers, operators & helpers, team building and onsite discipline.

- Managing risks to avoid losses or reputational damage.

- Sound understanding & study of O&M; Contracts to deliver on the assigned KRAs, P&L; of the plant effectively.

- Liasoning with local administrative authorities

Other Expectations

- Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, supply chain and IT

- Experience with implementing IT systems

- Develop strong interpersonal relationships with key vendors/ clients

- Be ready to take on additional intellectual tasks on conceptualisation for capacity building in project management.

- Knowledge of Anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, CBG Compression and instrumentation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors in Engineering (Chemical/ Process/ Mechanical) and/or MBA from reputed institution is desired but relevant experience takes precedence.

- Degree/ Diploma/ Certification in Operations Management will be given preference

- 10 years of overall work experience.

- Preference will be given to candidate with work experience from CBG plants.

- Local languages mandatory and prefrence to Local candiates.
