Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager – PEB to oversee complete plant operations, including production planning, structural steel fabrication, manpower, quality, maintenance, safety, inventory and timely dispatch. The role will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining quality, cost and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Plant Operations

- Manage end-to-end PEB manufacturing and fabrication operations.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
- Ensure timely completion of fabrication as per project schedules.
- Monitor production processes including cutting, drilling, welding, assembly, blasting and painting.
- Optimize plant capacity, manpower and machine utilization.

2. Production Planning

- Coordinate with Planning, Design, Purchase, Projects and Dispatch teams.
- Review production schedules and prioritize jobs according to project requirements.
- Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks.
- Ensure minimum production downtime and efficient workflow.

3. Quality Control

- Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and corrective actions.
- Monitor welding quality, dimensions, alignment, surface preparation and painting.
- Reduce rejection, rework and material wastage.





4. Manpower Management

- Manage production supervisors, engineers, welders, fabricators, operators and other plant staff.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Monitor productivity and attendance.
- Train and develop production personnel.

5. Cost & Productivity Control

- Control manufacturing costs and minimize material wastage.
- Monitor labour productivity and machine utilization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain production efficiency within approved budgets.

6. Maintenance

- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure proper maintenance records are maintained.

7. Material & Inventory Coordination

- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for availability of raw materials, consumables and fabrication accessories.
- Monitor material consumption and wastage.
- Ensure proper material handling and storage.

8. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with plant safety procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and secure working practices.
- Take corrective action against unsafe practices.

9. Dispatch & Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Dispatch/Logistics teams for timely delivery of fabricated structures.
- Ensure materials are properly inspected, packed and documented before dispatch.
- Coordinate with project teams regarding urgent or priority requirements.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
