Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Head to lead project planning and monitoring activities for construction projects. The candidate should have strong experience in construction project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the planning function for ongoing construction projects.

- Develop detailed project schedules, work programs, and execution plans.

- Prepare project timelines, milestones, and activity schedules in coordination with project teams.

- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Purchase, Stores, and other departments to ensure timely project execution.

- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management.

- Track planned versus actual progress and recommend corrective actions wherever required.

- Monitor manpower, material, equipment, and other resource requirements based on project schedules.

- Identify potential delays and project risks and coordinate with concerned teams for timely resolution.

- Review site progress and update project schedules accordingly.

- Prepare recovery plans for delayed activities and monitor their implementation.

- Establish and maintain project planning and monitoring systems.

- Conduct regular planning and progress review meetings with project teams.





- Ensure project milestones and deadlines are tracked and achieved as per the approved plan.

- Analyse project performance and provide regular updates to management.

- Maintain proper planning records, schedules, progress reports, and related documentation.

- Lead and guide the planning team and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry.

- Construction project planning experience is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of construction project scheduling, monitoring, and progress tracking.

- Experience in preparing project schedules, work programs, and recovery plans.

- Strong understanding of construction activities, project execution, and site coordination.

- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or other project planning software.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and project reporting.

- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

- Experience in coordinating with project teams, consultants, contractors, and management.

- Robust team-management and decision-making abilities.

- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
