We are looking for a Placement & Corporate Relations Manager who can bridge the gap between trained talent and industry opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with IT companies, HR professionals, recruiters, startups, MNCs, and recruitment partners, while managing the complete placement journey of our students.
This role requires a combination of corporate networking, recruitment knowledge, student engagement, team coordination, strong communication, and excellent follow-up skills.
The candidate will play a key role in creating new hiring opportunities and improving the overall placement experience for students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Corporate Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT companies and HR teams.
- Develop a network of recruiters, HR managers, talent acquisition teams, and hiring partners.
- Identify companies with current and upcoming hiring requirements.
- Establish new corporate partnerships for student placements.
- Conduct regular communication and follow-ups with corporate contacts.
- Understand employer requirements and align suitable candidates accordingly.
1. Placement & Recruitment Management
- Manage the complete student placement process from candidate registration to joining.
- Identify suitable job opportunities based on student skills, course, experience, and career preferences.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, recruitment drives, and hiring events.
- Share relevant job opportunities with eligible students.
- Track shortlisted, selected, rejected, and joining candidates.
- Follow up with companies for interview results and offer letters.
1. Student Career Support
- Understand students' career goals and job preferences.
- Guide students regarding suitable job roles and career opportunities.
- Coordinate resume-building and interview-preparation activities.
- Organize mock interviews,
HR preparation, aptitude sessions, and career guidance programs.
- Identify students who require additional placement support.
- Maintain regular communication with students throughout their placement journey.
1. Corporate Hiring Drives
- Plan and coordinate campus and off-campus recruitment drives.
- Invite companies for direct hiring and recruitment events.
- Coordinate technical interviews, HR rounds, aptitude tests, and assessments.
- Ensure smooth coordination between recruiters, trainers, and students.
- Collect employer feedback after recruitment activities.
1. Placement Pipeline Management
Maintain a structured placement pipeline covering: Student → Job Opportunity → Application → Interview → Shortlisted → Selected → Offer → Joined
- Keep placement records updated.
- Monitor pending interviews and follow-ups.
- Identify inactive or unresponsive candidates.
- Ensure no placement chance or candidate follow-up is missed.
1. Placement Team Management
- Lead and coordinate the placement team.
- Allocate corporate follow-ups and student follow-ups among team members.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly placement targets.
- Monitor team performance and follow-up quality.
- Conduct regular placement review meetings.
- Train team members on corporate communication and placement processes.
1. MIS & Management Reporting
Prepare accurate weekly and monthly placement reports covering:
- Total placement-eligible students
- Active job-seeking students
- Companies contacted
- New corporate connections
- Job openings received
- Interviews scheduled
- Students attended interviews
- Students shortlisted
- Students selected
- Students joined
- Course-wise placement performance
- Company-wise hiring performance
- Pending follow-ups
- Placement conversion
Pay: ₹384,771.91 - ₹740,595.16 per year
