Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Piping Engineers for an Industrial / Polysilicon Project at Jamnagar. Candidates should have strong experience in piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing and commissioning, with exposure to Metallic and/or Non-Metallic piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise piping fabrication, erection and installation activities at site
- Review piping layouts, P&IDs;, isometrics, GA drawings and MTOs
- Ensure piping execution as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural and other disciplines
- Monitor fit-up, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing and commissioning activities
- Coordinate installation of piping supports, valves and associated components
- Resolve site technical queries and piping-related execution issues
- Monitor contractors, manpower, materials and daily work progress
- Ensure compliance with applicable piping codes, quality standards and HSE requirements
- Coordinate with client, contractors, vendors and engineering teams

Metallic Piping Responsibilities

- Experience with CS, SS, alloy steel and other metallic piping systems
- Knowledge of piping fabrication, welding and erection procedures




- Understanding of pipe supports, valves, fittings and piping components
- Familiarity with ASME, ANSI and API standards
- Support hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement and commissioning activities

Non-Metallic Piping Responsibilities

- Experience with FRP, GRP, HDPE, PVC, CPVC or similar piping systems
- Knowledge of installation, jointing and handling requirements
- Understanding of material specifications and installation procedures
- Familiarity with applicable ASTM / ISO standards
- Supervise specialized fabrication, joining, erection and testing activities

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Industrial / Polysilicon / Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery / Oil & Gas / Process Plant projects
- Hands-on experience in piping fabrication and erection
- Good understanding of P&IDs;, isometrics, GA drawings and piping layouts
- Knowledge of welding, NDT, hydrotesting and commissioning
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing and QA/QC requirements
- Good site coordination and communication skills
- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred

Candidate Profile

- 5-15 years of relevant Piping Engineering experience
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Metallic and/or Non-Metallic piping systems
- Polysilicon / Process Plant experience preferred
- Strong site execution, fabrication and erection exposure
- Willing to work at Jamnagar, Gujarat
