Picker, Packer, and Loader Roles & Responsibilities

Picker

- Pick products/items from shelves or storage locations based on orders.

- Check product codes, quantities, sizes, and specifications.

- Use scanners or picking lists to identify items.

- Inspect items for damage or defects.

- Move picked items to the packing area.

- Maintain accuracy and follow warehouse safety procedures.

Packer

- Pack picked items according to company standards.

- Select appropriate boxes, bags, or packaging materials.

- Check quantities and product condition before packing.

- Label packages correctly with order/shipping information.

- Seal and prepare packages for dispatch.

- Keep the packing area clean and organized.

Loader

- Load packed goods onto trucks or delivery vehicles.





- Arrange goods safely to prevent damage during transportation.

- Verify shipment quantities and documents.

- Handle loading equipment safely where required.

- Secure goods properly inside vehicles.

- Unload goods when assigned and maintain a protected loading area.

Common Responsibilities

- Follow health and safety procedures.

- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.

- Maintain warehouse cleanliness.

- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.

- Work cooperatively with warehouse and dispatch teams.
