PHE system - Design Engineer

Reporting to: Design Engineer PHE

Business: MEP Consultant

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for passionate, self-driven individuals with a keen eye for detail to help designing the plumbing related systems and deliver proper quality design and drawings.

Role

- Designing of Plumbing related system as per standard and requirement of projects
- Provide detail design and input to drafting person for prepare quality drawings.
- Preparation of detail BOQ and estimation with proper backup.
- Monitoring the progress and quality of drawing till the GFC stage and ensure deliverables as per project schedule.
- Checking shop drawing and technical details from receipt of vendor.
- Attending design review meetings.
- Site visits for site meeting and inspection if any during construction stage.
- Proper coordination with architect, site team and other department during progress of project.

- Introduction of current technology / product.

Requirements

- BE / Diploma
- Essential Skills (Behavioral) - Well behavior and need to raise the occasion by supporting other team members.
- Essential Skills (Technical): Need to understand architectural and structural drawings before going to design. Designing the system according to standard and requirement of the project.
- Desired Skills: Proper communication, time punctuality and teamwork.
- Desired Skills (Technical): Adhered to project schedule with quality deliverables.
- Specific knowledge requirements: Knowing about Revit/ Auto cad additional advantage.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Plumbing designing in residential & commercial and other types of projects.
