Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Nurse with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience to provide high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.

The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for IPD patient care, medication administration, monitoring of vital signs, assisting doctors during procedures, emergency care, parent counselling, and maintaining accurate nursing documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients as per hospital protocols.
- Assess and monitor the patient's condition, vital signs, pain, intake/output, and overall clinical status.
- Identify changes in the child's condition and promptly inform the treating pediatrician.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and child-friendly patient environment.
- Provide age-appropriate care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents as applicable.

Medication & Treatment
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure accurate medication dosage based on the patient's age/weight and prescription.
- Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and promptly report abnormalities.
- Maintain proper medication administration records.
- Follow medication safety and infection-control protocols.

Clinical & Procedural Responsibilities




- Assist pediatricians and other consultants during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
- Perform and document nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
- Maintain IV lines, catheters, feeding tubes, and other devices as required.
- Collect and appropriately handle specimens for laboratory investigations.

Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, vital charts, medication records, and other clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
- Coordinate effectively with pediatricians, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection-control guidelines, and patient-safety standards.

Qualification
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration with the relevant State Nursing Council.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in Pediatrics / Pediatric Ward / PICU / Multispecialty Hospital.
- Experience in handling pediatric patients is essential.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
