Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Inspection & System Testing

- Mechanical & Safety Checks: Inspect the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, and clutch systems. Verify fluid levels, tire pressure, and wheel alignment.
- Electrical & Electronic Diagnostics: Check the battery condition, internal and external lighting, wiring, horn, and wipers.
- EV-Specific Inspections (for Electric Vehicles): Inspect the high-voltage battery, electric motor, controller, charging system, and execute required Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates.
- Cosmetic Audits: Examine the vehicle exterior and interior for scratches, surface chips, misaligned trim, or transport damage.
- Accessory Fitment: Install standard dealership or customer-requested accessories such as floor mats, mud flaps, seat covers, reverse cameras, or infotainment systems.
- Software & Preferences: Program the vehicle's clock, radio, compass, navigation, and pair customer apps.
- Road Testing: Conduct brief test drives along designated routes to confirm acceleration, braking, and overall drivability.
- Detailing & Unboxing:



Remove all protective factory shipping plastics and wraps, and ensure the vehicle is clean and fully fueled/charged for delivery.

Documentation & Rectification

- Checklist Compliance: Meticulously complete OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and dealership PDI checklists to log the vehicle's health.
- Minor Repairs: Fix minor defects, loose connections, or surface imperfections directly.
- Reporting: Document and escalate major manufacturing defects or severe transit damage to the Workshop Supervisor.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Opportunities exist for both freshers and experienced technicians (typically 1–3 years in a dealership workshop).
