Roles and Responsibilities

- Own and lead end-to-end payroll operations for multiple clients across geographies, ensuring complete compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Responsible to Manage Multiple Customers Payroll with Combined HC of (10000 - 50,000) and perform the SME Level Validations ensuring 100% maker-checker Adherence, validating taxation, and filing TDS returns.
- Manage statutory compliances across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with statutory updates (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, etc.).
- Having Domain Expertise (Deep Taxation Knowledge | 192B Notices Handling etc.)
- Leverage dashboard reporting to present insights on payroll trends, errors, and efficiencies; ensure data integrity and privacy in line with SaaS compliance frameworks.
- Contribute to gross margin management by identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.
- Champion operational efficiency by identifying gaps, implementing process improvements, and aligning payroll workflows with SLA and business KPIs.
- Monthly Governance with all the Assigned Customers.
- Manage New Customer Transition and Migration.
- Drive Governance with all the assigned customer.

Escalation & Stakeholder Management

- Handle complex escalations and manage high-stakes payroll issues with precision and urgency.
- Engage regularly with clients and leadership to provide updates,



manage expectations, and co-create solutions.
- Manage SLA governance, reporting, and corrective action plans to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinate across finance, HR, IT, and client teams for seamless payroll execution and system enhancements.

People & Project Leadership

- Collecting payroll inputs, calculating, and syncing/updating data in the system.
- Own payroll projects including automation initiatives, platform migrations, and new client onboarding.
- Prepare executive dashboards and present to senior leadership, showcasing key payroll metrics, issue resolution, and process enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- B. Com / MBA in HR, Finance, or related discipline.
- 7-10 Years of experience in India Payroll Operations, with strong exposure to SaaS models and HR Tech platforms.
- Robust understanding of payroll accounting, taxation, and audit processes.
- Excellent command over payroll applications, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to manage gross margins, project budgets, and large-scale client accounts.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and working in high-demand environments.
- Preferred Location would be Delhi NCR / Bangalore; flexible to relocate as needed.
