Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting with tax computations and filings, and supporting audit documentation and compliance activities. The individual will coordinate with senior accountants or partners to clarify client requirements, respond to queries, and ensure timelines are met.



The Accountant is expected to maintain organized records, follow firm procedures, and uphold confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statements.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for reports and reconciliations.
- Understanding of Indian taxation and compliance fundamentals (GST, TDS, income tax) is preferred.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain well-organized financial records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients professionally.
- Relevant academic background such as B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent; pursuing or completed CA/CPA or similar qualification is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Bengaluru for part-time hours and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
