Roles & Responsibilities Outlet In-Charge

AreaKey Responsibilities1.

Outlet

OperationsManage complete daily operations; ensure opening and closing procedures are followed; maintain smooth workflow during peak hours.2.

Staff

ManagementAllocate duties and shifts; monitor attendance, grooming and discipline; train staff; ensure adequate manpower during peak hours.3. Food QualityEnsure recipes, portion sizes, presentation and preparation standards are strictly followed; conduct regular taste and quality checks.4. Food Safety & HygieneMaintain personal hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, temperature controls, FIFO/FEFO, proper food storage and sanitation as per company/FSSAI standards.5.

Order

ManagementMonitor orders from Swiggy, Zomato, POS and other platforms; ensure orders are accepted, prepared, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.6.

Customer

ExperienceHandle customer complaints and feedback; coordinate with delivery platforms; take corrective action to minimize complaints, cancellations and refunds.7.

Inventory

ManagementMonitor daily stock levels; prepare requisitions; conduct opening/closing stock checks; prevent overstocking, shortages, expiry and wastage.8.

Wastage

ControlRecord food wastage, rejected items, spoilage and variance; identify reasons and implement corrective measures.9. Sales & PerformanceMonitor daily sales, order count, average order value, cancellations, discounts and other outlet KPIs; work towards achieving company targets.10. Cash & Financial ControlEnsure proper cash handling, POS reconciliation and daily sales settlement; report any discrepancy immediately.11. Equipment & MaintenanceEnsure kitchen equipment, refrigeration, POS,



internet and other operational equipment are functional; report breakdowns immediately and coordinate repairs.12. Packaging & DispatchEnsure correct packaging, labelling, cutlery/condiments and order segregation; verify every order before handover to delivery partner.13. Vendor & Supply CoordinationCoordinate with central kitchen, suppliers and logistics team for timely receipt of food, packaging and other materials.14. ComplianceMaintain required licenses, records, checklists and operational documents; ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable food-safety requirements.15. Security & SafetyEnsure fire-safety procedures, electrical safety, pest-control measures and emergency protocols are followed.16. ReportingSubmit daily operational reports covering sales, stock, wastage, attendance, complaints, maintenance and other key issues.17. SOP ImplementationEnsure all company SOPs are followed consistently and identify areas where processes can be improved.18. Team Culture & DisciplineMaintain professional conduct, teamwork and discipline; address operational conflicts appropriately and escalate responsible matters to management.19.

Audit

ReadinessKeep the outlet ready for internal, FSSAI, hygiene, quality and operational audits; close audit observations within the assigned timeline.20.

Business





GrowthSupport promotions, new product launches, upselling and initiatives designed to improve outlet sales and operational efficiency.
