Responsibilities

- Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile surgical environments.

- Manage and organize the surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring their sterility and availability.

- Support the surgeon by providing necessary instruments and supplies during surgery.

- Monitor and record patient vitals and respond to any changes in patient condition during procedures.

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless and productive surgical operations.

- Facilitate pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education.

- Provide emergency support during surgical procedures as required.

- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation and reports related to surgeries.

- Ensure compliance with established infection control practices and protocols.

- Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated with the latest surgical nursing practices.
