Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Operation Theatre (OT) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring high standards of treatment and care.

- Prepare and maintain OT and ICU equipment and ensure the surgical field remains sterile during procedures.

- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations by handing over instruments and maintaining a sterile workplace.

- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in their condition, ensuring immediate attention and support in emergencies.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including patient histories, treatment details, and post-operative notes.

- Educate and support patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery processes, and post-operative care.

- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
