Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room setting to ensure safety and efficiency during surgical procedures.

- Support surgeons and surgical teams by providing essential instruments and supplies before, during, and after operations.

- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments and equipment.

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies and reorder as necessary to prevent shortages.

- Provide emergency support in critical situations and ensure a swift and effective response to any intraoperative emergencies.

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including patient records and surgical logs, to uphold compliance with hospital standards.

- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in both general and obstetric surgeries.

- Assist in post-operative care and transfer of patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or recovery rooms as needed.
