MailerMen is hiring an Oracle Retail MFCS Development Consultant to implement, develop and enhance Oracle Retail Merchandising applications. MFCS is Oracle Retail Merchandising Financial Cloud Service, the cloud service that holds a retailer's merchandising and merchandise financial data, and it sits in the Oracle Retail Merchandising family alongside RMS (Retail Merchandising System), RPM (Retail Price Management), ReSA (Retail Sales Audit) and ReIM (Retail Invoice Matching). These applications record what a retailer buys, what it holds in stock, what it charges and what it pays its suppliers, so the accuracy of the development work done here is visible directly in merchandising and financial reporting.

The role covers the full delivery cycle. You will translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, then drive those designs through development, testing and deployment. The technical work rests on PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting for batch and data processing, Oracle APEX for building screens and small applications on top of the database, and REST APIs, Kafka, JSON and XML for moving data between systems.

Integration work also draws on middleware and ESB (enterprise service bus) concepts, the patterns by which separate applications exchange messages reliably, and on OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), Oracle's hosted service for building and running those integrations. You will work alongside functional and technical teams to validate business requirements, system configurations and solution designs.

Two conditions are firm and worth reading before you apply. Experience on at least one end-to-end Oracle Retail MFCS implementation is mandatory, so exposure limited to support or minor enhancements will not meet the bar. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and practices is also mandatory rather than an advantage.





This is a contract engagement, worked remotely from anywhere in India. Compensation is ₹1,00,000 per month. The role calls for 5+ years of experience. A background verification (BGV) will be carried out as part of the selection process, and you will need to provide your EPFO service history, which is the record of your past employment held by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation, for submission. Responsibilities

- Implement, develop and enhance Oracle Retail Merchandising applications, including MFCS, RMS, RPM, ReSA and ReIM.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs that development teams can build from.
- Drive designs through development, testing and deployment into production.
- Build and enhance application logic using PL/SQL against Oracle Retail data structures.
- Write and maintain Unix shell scripts that support batch processing and file handling.
- Develop Oracle APEX screens and applications that support merchandising and merchandise financial processes.
- Develop and consume REST APIs that connect MFCS with surrounding retail systems.
- Implement message-based integrations using Kafka and established middleware and ESB patterns.
- Work with JSON and XML payloads exchanged between MFCS and connected applications.
- Build and support integrations on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).




- Apply AI-assisted development tools and practices in day-to-day design, development and testing work.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to validate business requirements, system configurations and solution designs.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the implementation, development and enhancement of Oracle Retail Merchandising applications, including MFCS, RMS, RPM, ReSA and ReIM.
- Experience on at least one end-to-end Oracle Retail MFCS implementation is mandatory.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs and driving them through development and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and practices is mandatory for this role.
- Solid hands-on development skills in PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of Unix shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with Kafka and a solid understanding of middleware and ESB concepts.
- Working knowledge of JSON and XML for data exchange between systems.
- Hands-on experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams to validate business requirements, system configurations and solution designs.
