Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle RAC And Exadata)

Work Mode : Hybrid shift timings: 10 AM to 7 PM and 11 AM to 8 PM (rotational)

Location: Hyderabad / Chennai/ Pune / Bangalore

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to manage and optimize our Oracle RAC environment on Exadata, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across production systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Oracle RAC databases in an Exadata environment
- Monitor database performance; tune SQL queries and provide optimization recommendations to development teams
- Generate and analyze AWR reports; deliver performance tuning recommendations based on findings
- Manage user accounts, roles, privileges, and ensure database security compliance
- Review database change requests per defined change management process; diagnose deployment-related failures




- Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell/Python scripting
- Troubleshoot and resolve database locks, deadlocks, performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and ORA-errors
- Support CI/CD pipelines involving MySQL

Required Skills & Experience

- Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Exadata
- Proven expertise in SQL performance tuning and AWR report analysis
- Solid understanding of Oracle security, roles, and access management
- Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting
- Hands-on automation experience using Python
- Experience with AWS cloud environment
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows with MySQL
- Strong troubleshooting skills for database performance and connectivity issues
