Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, assess vision and ocular health, prescribe corrective lenses, identify eye conditions, and refer patients to ophthalmologists when specialist care is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Perform visual acuity testing, objective and subjective refraction, and binocular vision assessments.
- Conduct slit-lamp examinations, IOP measurements and other relevant diagnostic tests.
- Identify refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
- Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses and low-vision aids as appropriate.
- Detect suspected ocular diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when required.
- Explain examination procedures, findings and eye-care recommendations clearly to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of optometry equipment.
- Follow patient-safety,



hygiene and infection-control protocols.
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative assessments when required.
- Coordinate with ophthalmologists, nurses, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in eye-screening camps and community eye-care programs when required.

Qualifications
- B.Optom / Bachelor of Optometry or equivalent qualification.
- Required professional registration/licensing, where applicable.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may be considered depending on the position.
- Good clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Strong patient-handling and counselling skills.
- Good knowledge of refraction and clinical optometry.
- Ability to operate common optometric instruments.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Positive computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: ₹15,260.63 - ₹31,152.42 per month
