Requirement:
n
n
- 7–10+ years of relevant experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Operations, Process Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
n
- Mandatory experience in steel, metals, heavy manufacturing, power generation, or a closely related industry.
n
- Strong hands-on exposure to integrated steel plant operations is highly preferred.
n
n
nExperience across one or more of the following areas:
n

- Coke Ovens
n
- Blast Furnace
n
- Steel Melting Shop
n
- Rolling Mills
n
- Captive Power Plant
n
- Utilities
n
- Maintenance
n
- Process Engineering
n
- Quality
n
n
nRequired Technical Skills:
n
n
- Solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodology.
n
- Strong knowledge of TPM, OEE, Kaizen, 5S, SPC, FMEA, 8D, RCA, and process capability analysis.
n
- Understanding of steel manufacturing processes and metallurgical operations.
n
- Understanding of power plant efficiency metrics such as PLF, heat rate, auxiliary consumption, and thermal efficiency.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
n
- Proficiency in Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI/Tableau.
n
- Ability to quantify project benefits and translate operational improvements into financial savings.
n
n
