Location : Defence Colony Delhi.

Job Objective To ensure accurate, timely, and effective billing and payment processing for OPD patients while maintaining high standards of patient service, billing accuracy, and compliance with hospital policies.

Job Responsibilities

- Handle OPD billing for consultations, procedures, investigations, and other hospital services.
- Generate accurate bills, receipts, and payment documents as per hospital processes.
- Verify patient details, doctor consultation, services availed, and applicable tariffs before billing.
- Process cash, card, UPI, and other approved modes of payment.
- Ensure accurate application of discounts, packages, concessions, and approved billing adjustments.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other departments for billing-related requirements.
- Address patient queries related to billing, payments, refunds, and charges in a professional manner.
- Process refunds and cancellations as per approved hospital policies and authorization matrix.
- Maintain proper records of daily transactions, receipts, cancellations, and refunds.




- Ensure timely reconciliation of billing transactions and cash/card/online collections.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with the concerned department.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient and financial information.
- Follow hospital SOPs, quality standards, and applicable statutory/compliance requirements.
- Support internal audits and provide required billing reports and documentation.
- Maintain a patient-centric approach and ensure smooth patient movement through the billing process.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Eligibility & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; relevant certification in billing/hospital administration will be an added advantage.
- 13 years of experience in OPD billing/hospital billing preferred.
- Experience in a multispecialty hospital will be preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital billing software and basic MS Office.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
