Role Description The Office Furniture Designer at Unidor will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and detailing office furniture solutions that integrate seamlessly with Unidor’s partition systems. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves developing design proposals, creating technical drawings, and collaborating with architects, interior designers, and project teams to ensure functional and aesthetic coherence. Day-to-day tasks include selecting materials and finishes, coordinating with carpentry and production teams, and refining designs based on client feedback and project requirements.

The designer will also support prototyping, quality checks,



and continuous improvement of product lines in alignment with workspace trends and user needs.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Furniture Design and Product Design, with the ability to create ergonomic, functional, and visually appealing office furniture.
- Hands-on understanding of Carpentry and Furniture construction methods to ensure designs are practical, durable, and manufacturable.
- Experience in Interior Design, particularly in office and commercial spaces, to align furniture solutions with overall spatial concepts.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar CAD tools) and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and 3D visualizations.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and hardware commonly used in office furniture and partition systems.
- Robust collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with architects, builders, contractors, and production teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a user-centered design approach focused on comfort, safety, and productivity.
- Preferably a degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience in commercial or office furniture projects is an advantage.
