Position Summary The OA Server, Database & Network Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting Hyundai WIA Pune IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, databases, network devices, user access management, backup systems, and IT operations. The role requires close coordination with MES, SAP, Security, and business users to ensure stable and secure IT services for manufacturing and office operations.

Key Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration and Active Directory.

- Experience in managing Microsoft Windows Server environments.

- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File and Print Services.

- Experience in Database Administration (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle).

- Understanding database backup, recovery, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Robust knowledge of Network Administration including LAN, WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN technologies.

- Experience managing switches, routers, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.

- Knowledge of VMware/Hyper-V virtualization environments.

- Experience in backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures.

- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure and related services.

- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, and access permissions.

- Monitor and maintain database environments ensuring data availability and integrity.

- Perform database backup,



recovery, health checks, and performance optimization activities.

- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.

- Troubleshoot server, database, and network-related incidents and coordinate resolution activities.

- Support MES, SAP, and business applications by ensuring infrastructure availability and performance.

- Monitor infrastructure health, system utilization, and availability through monitoring tools.

- Perform server patching, updates, and preventive maintenance activities.

- Manage backup operations and support disaster recovery testing and validation.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure-related support.

- Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational records, and asset information.

- Support IT audits, compliance activities, and security requirements.

- Participate in infrastructure enhancement, migration, and implementation projects.

Preferred Requirements

- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is preferred.

- Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, or AWS environments is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP environments.

- Experience with firewall administration and network security concepts.

- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, CCNA, ITIL, or database certifications are preferred.
