Role & responsibilities

- Source and procure raw materials and components for wiring harness production.

- Handle RFQs, supplier quotations, commercial negotiations, and price comparisons.

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and vendors.

- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, and Quality departments for material planning and requirements.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules.

- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock situations.

- Identify alternate suppliers and support cost reduction initiatives through localization and value engineering.

- Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and pending materials.

- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, shortages, and logistics.

- Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and ERP updates.





- Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF standards and company procurement policies.

- Support supplier audits, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement activities.

- Monitor market trends and raw material price fluctuations for strategic purchasing decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Vendor management and supplier development

- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Knowledge of procurement cycle and inventory control

- Understanding of BOM, MRP, and sourcing processes

- ERP/SAP knowledge preferred

- Good analytical and cost comparison skills

- MS Excel proficiency

- Problem-solving and follow-up capability
