- Act as the primary on-site administrator during night hours.

- Oversee patient flow, emergency admissions, bed utilization, and discharges.

- Make regular rounds across wards, ICU, and the Emergency Department to assess operational readiness. [1, 2, 3, 4]

- Coordinate smoothly between doctors, nursing personnel, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and front office teams.

- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and shift deployment. [1, 2]

- Respond promptly to critical incidents, medical emergencies, or facility failures (e.g., power or equipment issues).

- Handle urgent patient or family grievances with swift service recovery. [1, 2]

- Enforce hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards (such as NABH). [1]

- Prepare a comprehensive Night Duty Report detailing events, staff performance, and critical escalations.

- Provide a transparent handover briefing to the incoming morning administrative and medical team
