Senior Network Engineer Experience

Pune / Chennai Job Summary We are seeking an experienced

Senior Network Engineer with 8-12 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in routing, switching, network security, troubleshooting, and data center networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks. Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VLANs. Manage network security solutions including Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC.

Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization. Handle incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure and cloud networking initiatives.

Prepare network documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. Support network transformation, migration, and modernization projects.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in

Cisco Routing & Switching . Hands-on experience with

Firewalls

(Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point). Valuable knowledge of

WAN technologies, SD-WAN, VPN, MPLS, QoS , and Load Balancers. Experience with

Data Center Networking technologies. Exposure to

Cloud Networking

(AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
