About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end network support — from day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting to advanced design, security, and escalation handling — ensuring smooth operation and high availability of the organization's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor network performance, respond to alerts/tickets, and maintain daily network health check reports
- Perform troubleshooting of connectivity issues across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Log, categorize, and resolve/escalate incidents as per SLA
- Handle VPN access issues, password resets, and basic-to-advanced network configuration requests
- Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), NAT, and firewall rules
- Set up and troubleshoot VPN tunnels, and coordinate with ISPs/vendors for link issues and outages
- Perform firmware/OS upgrades on network devices and support network audits/documentation
- Handle complex network design, architecture, and optimization tasks
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring/critical network issues




- Manage advanced routing/switching, MPLS, and SD-WAN configurations
- Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs)
- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery activities
- Act as the final escalation point for critical issues and mentor junior team members

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, Routing & Switching
- Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/HP/Fortinet devices
- Understanding of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, Checkpoint – any)
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
- Basic scripting/automation knowledge is a plus
- Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics or related field
- CCNA / CCNP certification preferred (CCIE is a plus)
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in network support

Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required
- Team player with a proactive approach

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
