Responsibilities

- Perform nucleic acid testing (NAT) to ensure the safety and quality of blood products.

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments used in NAT processes.

- Collect, process, and analyze samples with precision and accuracy.

- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.

- Maintain detailed and accurate records of test results and laboratory activities.

- Collaborate with the blood bank team to ensure timely and efficient testing.

- Participate in quality assurance and control measures to enhance laboratory performance.

- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members on NAT procedures.

- Provide emergency support for urgent testing and blood product release.

- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory workplace, adhering to health and safety protocols.
