NIED is hiring Mobile Repairing & Handheld Devices Trainers for its upcoming skill development programmes across multiple districts of Uttar Pradesh.

We are looking for technically skilled professionals who have experience in the skill development sector and can independently manage practical training, student mobilisation, counselling, batch operations and placement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver practical and theoretical training in mobile phone repairing, chip-level troubleshooting, hardware and software diagnostics, and mobile accessories repair.
- Conduct hands-on training in soldering, PCB repair, component replacement and the use of diagnostic equipment.
- Actively participate in student mobilisation, community outreach, counselling and enrolment activities.
- Ensure timely batch formation, regular attendance, student retention and training completion.
- Establish linkages with mobile service centres, electronics companies and local employers to facilitate placements.
- Organise placement drives, industry exposure visits and on-the-job training.
- Support candidates interested in self-employment and mobile repair entrepreneurship.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment reports,



placement documentation and MIS data.
- Achieve assigned enrolment, training and placement targets.

Eligibility and Experience
- Graduate in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience in handset repairing, as prescribed in the model curriculum.
- Previous experience in the skill development sector is mandatory.
- Practical experience in student mobilisation, counselling, placement coordination and batch management.
- Experience working on NSDC, PMKVY, Skill India, CSR-funded or similar skill development projects is preferred.
- Relevant SSC/ToT certification as prescribed under TEL/Q2201 v5.0.
- Strong communication, technical demonstration and student management skills.

Location and Mobility Candidates are required for Agra, Mathura, Varanasi, Lucknow and other districts across Uttar Pradesh. Applicants must be willing to work at their assigned training centre and travel within the district for mobilisation, industry visits and placement activities when required.

Preference: Candidates with local knowledge, community connections and established employer networks in their respective districts.
