Role Description The Machine-Deep-Reinforcement Learning Research Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The intern will work closely with mentors and researchers to design, implement, and evaluate machine learning and deep reinforcement learning algorithms for experimental and applied AI projects.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, formulating research hypotheses, building and training models, running experiments, and analyzing results to improve performance and robustness. The intern will help prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations, and contribute to codebases, reproducible pipelines, and research artifacts.



Collaboration with other interns and engineers on prototype AI systems and participation in internal reviews, seminars, and learning sessions are also core parts of the role.

Qualifications

- Onsite Gurgaon living candidates only if currently in Gurgaon, need to visit office regularly to AI Lab
- Strong foundations in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, including familiarity with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Python and common ML/AI libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Understanding of Deep Reinforcement Learning algorithms (e.g., DQN, Policy Gradients, Actor-Critic methods) and experience implementing or experimenting with them.
- Solid grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms, linear algebra, probability, and optimization relevant to ML and RL research.
- Ability to design and run experiments, manage datasets, evaluate models using appropriate metrics, and interpret results rigorously.
- Experience working with Git, reproducible research practices, and clean, well-documented code for collaborative projects.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, research summaries, and discussions with mentors and peers.
- Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Curiosity about cutting-edge AI topics such as Generative AI, LLMs, and applied ML systems; prior personal or
