The company partners with a growing network of mental health professionals and delivers programs for individuals, students, rural communities, universities, and workplaces.

Freudia focuses on making quality mental healthcare affordable, accessible, and free from stigma. The platform is designed to support people dealing with stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, academic pressure, and workplace issues before they become critical.

Role Description This is a remote internship role for a MERN Stack Developer. The intern will work on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing recent features, fixing bugs, writing clean and reusable code, integrating APIs, and collaborating with product, design, and mental health operations teams. The intern will participate in code reviews, contribute to improving application performance and security,



and help ensure a smooth user experience for clients accessing Freudia’s mental health and wellness services.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in JavaScript and modern ES6+ features, with hands-on experience in React.js for building responsive user interfaces.
- Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js for building RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including basic data modeling and CRUD operations.
- Understanding of web development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, Git version control, and integration with third-party APIs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues, write clean and maintainable code, and follow best practices in performance and security.
- Effective communication skills, willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, and ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree or formal training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in mental health, wellness, or social-impact technology products is an added advantage.
